ABT Audi R8 V10

As if it needed any help, the good folks at ABT have taken the R8 and made it even faster. The result is the ABT Audi R8 V10 ($TBA). By tuning the 5.2L FSI engine, they've increased the horsepower from 525 to 600, good for a 0-62 time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed just short of 200 mph. The upgrades don't end there, though: the upgraded R8 also features a new aero kit, new 19-inch wheels, a new exhaust system, and new suspension springs that lower the car slightly, providing even better handling.

  • Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50th Anniversary Edition

As if driving a normal Aventador wasn't exclusive enough, now you can up your supercar cred by placing an order for the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50th Anniversary Edition ($TBA). Limited to just 200 units — 100 coupes and 100 roadsters — this is more than just a fancy paint job, with horsepower increased to 720 and a new performance-oriented front and rear end design that includes larger front air intakes and splitter, small side flaps, and an all-new rear end with a larger diffuser and new meshwork that improves ventilation. The result is a 50% increase in aerodynamic efficiency, a 0-62 time of just 2.9 seconds, and a top speed of 217 mph.

  • Detroit Electric SP:01

Look out Tesla: there's a new company claiming to have the fastest all-electric car on the block. The Detroit Electric SP:01 ($TBA) packs a 200 hp motor into the middle of its carbon fiber body, channeling the power through the rear wheels. The roughly 2,350 lb. vehicle can rocket from 0-62 in just 3.7 seconds, reaches a top speed of 155 mph, and thanks to some patented technology can also act like an enormous battery pack, powering by itself — but unlike the other features, we're guessing that's one you'd really rather not ever have to use.
