Chrome Audi R8 Spyder

Every once in a while you run across something so over the top that "blinged out" doesn't even cover it. And so it is with the Chrome Audi R8 Spyder ($TBA). Created to be auctioned off in a benefit for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, these shiny speeders are arguably unsafe to drive on sunny days, but otherwise sport all the terrific performance and electronic niceties of their normally-clad counterparts. Unfortunately, both examples have been spoken for.

  • Aston Martin V12 Zagato

Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the legendary DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin has once again teamed with the Italian design house, with stunning results. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato ($TBA) offers aggressive yet graceful curves courtesy of a handcrafted bonded aluminum body, and features a front mid-mounted 6.0L V12 engine pumping out 510 hp, rear wheel drive, a steel roll cage, a six-speed gearbox with auto-shift and select shift manual modes, menacing LED taillights, and the iconic Zagato double bubble roof.

  • Porsche Cayman S Black Edition

Hot on the heels of its Boxster S cousin comes the Porsche Cayman S Black Edition ($67,500). Like it's black stablemates, the Cayman S Black sports a modest 10 hp bump that's good for a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds and total output of 330 horses, as well as a six-speed manual or Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) seven-speed double clutch transmission, 19-inch black wheels, monochrome black treatment on the exterior and interior — with a touch of aluminum and stainless steel to mix things up a bit — and standard features like dynamic Bi-Xenon headlights, auto-dimming mirrors, and the touch-screen Porsche Communication Management system with navigation, a Bose surround-sound system and XM radio. If you want one, you'd better hurry — only 500 are being made.
