Coney Island Craft Lagers

Carnival-style labeling meets microbrew mastery in these Coney Island Craft Lagers ($TBA). These award-winning beers include a traditional Lager, Mermaid Pilsner, Albino Python white lager, Sword Swallower IPA-style lager, and the seasonal Barrel-Aged Human Blockhead American bock. They're worth picking up if for no reason than the labels themselves (and the 10.83% ABV in the Blockhead).

  • Jim Beam 1795

Celebrate the history of fine Kentucky bourbon with some Jim Beam 1795 (€140; roughly $175). This eight-year-old, 95 proof bourbon is sourced from the top floor of a five-floor rack house, and is limited to just 200 flint glass bottles. The real kicker? It's only available in one place — the Heinemann Duty Free store in Frankfurt's (yes, the German one) T1B Schengen lounge — so you'd better be prepared to travel if you want to get your hands on a bottle.

  • B. Stiff & Sons Old Fashioned Root Beer

We'll drink pretty much anything put out by Oskar Blues, and when it's for a good cause — and we can actually drink it during working hours — well, that's even better. B. Stiff & Sons Old Fashioned Root Beer ($43/case) is the same home-brewed root beer that's been served at the company's restaurants for years, packaged into a 16oz resealable can, and made available for purchase nationwide. It's named for Brian Stiff, a Lyons, CO resident who recently died unexpectedly at 41 -- a portion of the proceeds are going to his widow and two young boys -- so you can feel good about downing multiple cans of the sugary goodness.
