Fisker Karma

Fisker Karma

The future is here, and it's name is Fisker Karma ($80,000). Created by Henrik Fisker, the designer of the awesome Aston Martin DB9 and BMW Z8, the Karma is as great for the environment as it is too look at. The sexy sports sedan hybrid, of which only 15,000 a year will be produced, will be able to run 50 miles on a pure electric charge. After that, you can extend your trip to more than 620 miles with the Karma's gas or diesel engine, which will reportedly get close to 100 miles to the gallon. This green ride isn't sluggish though — Fisker claims it will be able to hit 60 mph in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 125 mph.

  • Nissan GT-R

It's no longer a Skyline, but it's still a badass. The 2009 Nissan GT-R ($80,000; summer 2008) has the standard aggressive styling, along with a Godzilla-like 3.8L twin-turbo V6, which produces 473 horsepower and 434 ft-lbs. of torque. The GT-R and its GR6 dual-clutch six-speed, will also offer 0 to 60 time of 3.5 seconds, a quarter mile time of 11.7 seconds, and a top speed of 192 mph. Import muscle at its finest.

  • Lamborghini Reventón

Sporting a 660 horsepower, 6.5 litre V12 and F-22 Raptor-inspired styling, the Lamborghini Reventón (€1 million, around $1.4 million) is the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini ever. Along with a composite carbon fibre exterior, the Reventón packs features like carbon brake disks, heatproof LEDs for rear indicator lights, black aluminum wheels with carbon fin accents, and other reminders that the 100 folks who were lucky enough to get one are driving a masterstroke of exotic automotive design.
