Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6

We're not sure who it's really for — multi-millionaires with secret lairs miles away from the nearest road, perhaps? — but we do know it's badass. The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 (£350,000; roughly $525,000) is the biggest, most rugged offroader Stuttgart's ever produced. As the name suggests, it features six wheels for increased traction, a twin-turbocharged 5.5L AMG V8 cranking out 536hp, a seven-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. It's not all rugged capability, though, with an interior that features copious amounts of leather and Alcantara, sports seats, and other luxurious appointments. Just don't expect to see too many of them — word has it there's only going to be 20-30 built each year. [via]

  • Audi SQ5

Those of you waiting around for a truly fast compact luxury SUV can start planning to take on a new car loan this fall. That's when the Audi SQ5 ($TBA) will arrive on native shores, boasting a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 pumping out 354 horsepower, an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, quattro permanent all-wheel drive, a 0-62 mph time of 5.3 seconds, and a top speed of 155 mph. Of course, it's not all about performance, and as such it also features an upgraded suspension for better handling, a new front fascia and grille, 20-inch wheels, and a black interior with aluminum inlays. We just hope you like black or blue, because those are the only colors available.

  • 2013 Audi RS6 Avant

Yes, it's a station wagon — but it's a fast station wagon. The 2013 Audi RS6 Avant ($TBA) might be the ultimate driver's wagon, thanks to the twin-turbo V8 under the hood that gives it 560 hp, a 0-62 mph time of just 3.9 seconds, and a top speed of 190 mph, while still offering 24 mpg fuel efficiency. Other features include an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, quattro all-wheel drive, your choice of adaptive air or sport suspension, optional mammoth carbon fiber-ceramic brakes, two appearance packages, aggressive body work, and a sporty cockpit.
