MINI Superleggera Vision

Mixing classic Italian body construction with the bulldog-like looks of a Mini sounds like a recipe for disaster, but instead, the MINI Superleggera Vision is actually pretty striking. The result of a collaboration between MINI and Milan-based coach builders Touring Superleggera, this droptop features hand-shaped metal sheeting on the exterior, a high-end interior boasting materials like leather, aluminum, and black chrome, and an electric drivetrain that delivers a truly modern driving experience.

  • Audi TT Offroad Concept

After the debut of their Shooting Brake Concept earlier this year, it should come as no surprise that they would unveil a crossover based on the more familiar TT. The Audi TT Offroad Concept shares the same power plant — a unique plug-in hybrid with a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder backed up by electric motors in the front and back axles producing an impressive 408 horsepower. It sports a higher ground clearance than it's coupe cousin, letting it handle light off road terrain while still maintaining a comfortable feel on the road. And while this still may not signal a transition into more versatile vehicles, it's obvious that the car company known for powerful all-wheel-drive wants to build cars meant for something a little more than your commute.

  • Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept

It may seem hard to believe, but Land Rover introduced its iconic Discovery line 25 years ago. In celebration of the quarter century mark, they've created a new concept for the Discovery that will carry it into the next 25 years — and beyond. The Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept combines the Discovery's rugged heritage with a sleek, modern design that incorporates cutting-edge tech like smart glass, laser headlights, a new Terrain Response system, and Remote Control Drive. And while we doubt all of this makes it into a production model (should they choose to build one), we'd guess that it won't look all that different than what you see here.
