Original Coca-Cola Hutchinson Bottle

Original Coca-Cola Hutchinson Bottle

Unless you're a design geek or a Coca-Cola fanatic, odds are you don't realize that the fizzy stuff's iconic contoured bottle wasn't released until 1916, over twenty years after it first appeared in bottles. The Original Coca-Cola Hutchinson Bottle (£2, roughly $3) celebrates the drink's 125th anniversary by bringing it to you in its original bottle, complete with a special anniversary box. Drink up, or don't — it's up to you whether you want to be "that guy" with ancient bottles of unopened soda laying around. [Thanks, Eric]

  • Midnight Moon Moonshine

Just in case you're not up on your NASCAR history, the sport has its origins in bootlegging during Prohibition — and so did one of its earliest stars, Junior Johnson. Now Johnson's family recipe is being followed to create Midnight Moon Moonshine ($TBA). Handcrafted in small batches, it's made from corn in a copper still, and is ready to stand up against even higher end vodkas. We've been downing the fruit flavored ones all week, and they're mighty tasty — not to mention potent.

  • Northern Brewer Starter Kit

Need a way to pass the time while you're stuck at the house this winter? Why not brew your own beer? The Northern Brewer Starter Kit ($80) includes most of the tools you need to get started, including two six-gallon buckets — one for fermenting, one for bottling — a fermentation lock, tubing, a bottle filler, brush, and capper, 144 bottle caps, a hydrometer, sanitizer, instructions, and a tutorial DVD. All you need are ingredients, a 2.5-gallon or larger kettle for brewing, and a whole bunch of empty bottles — and if you're considering buying this, we're guessing those won't be too hard to come by.
