Triumph Thruxton SE

Packed with modern technology but sporting a design straight out of the past, the Triumph Thruxton SE ($10,649) is an intriguing update to the café racer. First impressions start off with the powder-coated red frame, crystal white bodywork, low rise handlebars, 18-inch spoke wheels, red stripe down the center, color-matched fly screen and blacked out engine cases, but it's the Thruxton's fuel injected 865cc parallel twin engine that delivers the thrills, pumping out 68hp and 51ft.lbs. of torque, which makes for some beautiful sounds emitting from the megaphone style pipes. If Speed Racer rode a motorcycle, we think it might look something like this.

  • Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Lo

    Cruise the streets in unique style aboard the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Lo ($16,300 and up). Featuring the lowest seat height of any Harley, the black denim Fat Boy Lo has a profile all its own, with a reshaped seat and handlebar, half-moon footboards, black cast aluminum 17-inch wheels, a counter-balanced Twin Cam 96B V-Twin engine paired with a 6-Speed Cruise Drive transmission, and, of course, the classic five-gallon Fat Bob fuel tank.

  • 2010 Honda VFR 1200F

    Tear up the road on the new 2010 Honda VFR 1200F ($TBA; Spring 2010). Expected to get an official intro at the Tokyo Motor Show, the 1200F boasts a 1,237cc liquid-cooled V4 engine good for 172 hp, impressively-sculpted body panels sitting atop a vacuum-molded cast aluminum chassis, Throttle By Wire for increased throttle response, an optional Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission with paddle-style shifters, and a next-generation shaft drive system. We'd recommend ditching the all-black outfit of the rider above, however, lest you be attacked by a confused group of other bike-riding ninjas.
