Legendary actor Gene Wilder has passed away at the age of 83. The wide-eyed comic was known for his work in the comedies of director Mel Brooks and fellow comdeian Richard Pryor, but is best remembered for his role as Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Not just an actor, Wilder also wrote four books, a memoir, and raised awareness for cancer after the death of his wife, Gilda Radner.
