This beautiful set uses walnut, maple, and Jatoba wood with magnets embedded in the squares and pieces, and adds a whole new aspect to the venerable pastime.

Evolution never stops — the timeline for evolution is usually measured in hundreds of thousands or even millions of years. But in just over a century, the height of the average American male has increased three inches and there have been adaptations to disease in the span of decades. Some of the most radical evolutionary shifts may come from our own doing, as gene editing technologies like CRISPR allow for extreme fine-tuning of the human genome, and the growing potential for interfacing our biological selves with computers. And in 1,000 years, we might not be living on Earth at all.

Velasca's Filòm Loafers fit like a glove — and that's no play on words. Made from the innermost layer of leather and buffed to give them their signature velvety texture, these suede shoes are washed with pumice stone for a lived-in look and feel, and hand-constructed using a tubular construction and sewn together by an internal seam called a Blake stitch, which helps the shoe flex with the natural flexing of your feet. A bit Ivy and inherently Italian, the shape references traditional college-style loafers, which were low-cut with a 'biscotto' shape. Now, they're a democratic everyman silhouette — but this iteration is for those with a keen sense of style and an eye for quality craftsmanship.

You could drop $50 million on an ultra-rare Ferrari with a successful racing pedigree — but no Ferrari has been to the Moon. Or ran with dinosaurs. Or can driven with sharks under the sea. This 1996 Suzuki Vitara has done all those things, and there's authenticated footage to prove it. Eugene Romanovsky wants you to #BUYMYVITARA, and you'd be a fool not to.
There's something in his apartment. A man looking for an insect-like thing devolves into a bout of insanity as his subconscious mind begins to strangle his waking one. Directed by Christopher Nolan while studying English literature in 1997, Doodlebug foreshadows some of the techniques that would become hallmarks of his later work.
