1.5M 'Showstopper' Guitar Strap

Australian artist Colin Burn spent three decades as a fine jeweller before pivoting to conceptual art. His creation of the "Showstopper" guitar strap is an homage to Nudie Cohn, the legendary tailor who rhinestone-loaded the stage costumes of Elvis, Elton John, and the Rolling Stones, turning spectacle into identity. Built on a genuine leather base, the strap is set with over one kilogram of 18K yellow gold and more than 30 carats of flawless white diamonds, AAA Ceylon blue sapphires, rich red rubies, and green emeralds. The strap is decorated with guitars, gold chevrons, and stars referencing the collision of blues and country that Keith Richards described in his documentary Under the Influence as the moment rock 'n' roll was born. One of one, with an eight-week preparation time.
