1865 American Express Framed Stock Certificate

Signed by business pioneers Henry Wells and William Fargo, this American Express Stock Certificate is a piece of US history. The renowned business partners founded the company in 1850 after the consolidation of three competing express companies. Two years later, the partners formed Wells, Fargo & Company, and expanded the express business from New York and San Francisco. Dating back to 1865, the stock certificate numbered 1447 features the signatures of company president Henry Wells and secretary William Fargo. It's presented in a custom frame with acid-free mats and backing and includes gallery-quality UV protective acrylic.
