1931 Bugatti Type 55 Roadster
Upon its release in 1931, the Type 55 was one of the most advanced cars on the planet. Extremely lightweight with a straight-eight, supercharged motor and unheard-of alloy wheels, the Type 55 was the road-going version of Bugatti's Type 45 and 47 Grand Prix race cars. The Type 55 shown here is the very first produced making it one of the most historically important Bugatti's made.
