1939 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider
Powered by a 180 hp supercharged straight-eight engine, the 1939 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider was one of the most advanced sports cars of its era. Performance was helped along by four wheel independent suspension, a four-speed transmission, and hydraulic drum brakes on each corner. This particular model led quite a colorful life before a full restoration in the mid-'90s reunited it with its original engine, bodywork, and drivetrain, making it one of the most original examples known to exist. One of only 12 known Touring Spiders, and one of only seven on the long (Lungo) chassis, it's an exceptionally rare piece of racing history.
