1948 Alfa Romeo 6C Coupe
The 6C 2500 SS was Alfa Romeo's top-line GT, and the first new model made after WWII. A 2.5-liter inline six with three carburetors pushed the svelte coupe to a top speed of 120 MPH, making it one of the fastest cars you could buy in its day. This 1948 6C 2500 is highly original, still wearing its beautiful aluminum bodywork by Touring of Milan and engine and gearbox. The coupe spent two years at Carrozzeria Nova Rinascente receiving a concours-level restoration and has won top awards at many European events since. Only 383 6C 2500 SS were made after WWII, and with its restoration and originality, makes it one of the best Italian classics on the market.
