1955 Ferrari 375 MM Berlinetta
Powered by a 4.5 L V12 engine based on its Ferrari 375 F1 counterpart, the 375 MM was one of the most advanced road cars of its day. This 1955 example, chassis 0472 AM, was built for noted Ferrari collector and United California Bank VP Alfred Ducato, and has had just three owners, serving as the centerpiece of notable collector Fred Leydorf's collection since 1969. It was expertly restored in the early '00s and arrives with extensive documentation, showing that it keeps its original, matching-numbers engine, gearbox, and differentials. It will be offered at Gooding Christie's upcoming Amelia Island Auction in March as a highlight of The Fred Leydorf Collection.
