1955 Maserati A6G/54 2000 Spyder Zagato
The Maserati A6G/54 Zagato was built to be a race car; blending beauty and speed. Only one was built, as a prototype, with an open roof — this one. Ordered by then Argentine president Juan Perón, it remains the only open Zagato body ever built on its platform, was recipient of the very first A6G/54 dual overhead cam engine, and retains its matching-numbers engine, transmission, aluminum alloy bodywork, and front and rear axles. Winner of multiple awards at car shows across the globe, it was restored to Pebble Beach-awarded condition in 2024 by Fast Cars and is now on the market.
