1956 Jaguar D-Type
While it isn't a factory works car and never raced at Le Mans, this Jaguar D-Type has an interesting history all its own. The car was first purchased by Bernie Ecclestone — the man that ran Formula One for 40 years and recently stepped down as its chairman. A year later, it passed to British racer Peter Blond and was racer frequently until the early 1960s. With its striking original red paint and provenance, this D-Type is expected to auction for more than $10 million.
