1956 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL
Born as a cheaper alternative to Mercedes' 300 SL track weapon, the 190 SL looked similar but had a more typical chassis construction and a 1.9-liter four-cylinder motor. The 190 SL was a grand tourer through and through, being more practical, comfortable, and nearly as stylish as it's track-bred cousin. This 190 SL has gone from California to the Netherlands and back to the States, picking up a concours-level restoration along the way. With just under 65,000 original miles, it's an affordable place to start for the vintage motoring enthusiast.
