1961 Land Rover 109 Series II
This Land Rover 109 Series II might be 62 years old, but looks half its age. A high-quality restoration was performed in 2013 by Chicago's Cooper Technica, where a modern 300Tdi 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four and five-speed transmission were installed. Painted a timeless Yellow Sand Glow with a white top, the SUV features a roof hatch, alpine windows, roof rack with rear ladder, and updated Rigid LED driving lights. The interior has been redone with Konig bucket seats upholstered in black Alcantara, with inward-facing bench seats in the cargo area, overhead fans, and a Pioneer CD sound system. This well-used restoration could be a bargain entrance into vintage Land Rovers.
