1967 De Tomaso Vallelunga
Former racer and Argentine native Alejandro De Tomaso started De Tomaso Automobili in Modena, Italy in 1959 — not too far from that other Italian sports car company. The Vallelunga was made from 1964 to 1968 and featured a backbone chassis with a Ford Cortina 1.5 liter four-cylinder motor and would set the template for the later Mangusta and famous Pantera. This 1967 Vallelunga is believed to be completely original, right down to the paint, making it an excellent example of De Tomaso's early work.
