1969 McLaren M6GT Coupe
Before the legendary McLaren F1 and current offerings like the 720S and Senna, there was the M6GT coupe. The first road-legal car made by McLaren, the M6GT was based on the Can-Am winning M6 and designed under the direction of founder Bruce McLaren himself. Powered by a 5-liter Chevrolet V8 topped with Weber carburetors, only three M6GTs were built — two were converted from M6 racers, and one built from scratch. Bruce himself drove one on the road, but the program was stopped after his tragic death in 1970. A very rare car from one of the premier sportscar makers, this M6GT would be a centerpiece in any collection.
