1971 Toyota Land Cruiser ICON FJ40

Refurbished and reimagined by ICON around 2012, this 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is an ideal example of why Jonathan Ward & Co.'s builds are so popular. It's powered by a 5.3L Vortec V8 engine mated to a five-speed manual, with a dual-range transfer case, an upgraded suspension with Fox shocks and Eibach springs, and a sport braking package. The exterior is finished in black powder coat, with American Racing 17" wheels, a steel front bumper with a 9,500-lb Warn front winch, LED lighting, a receiver hitch on the rear pumper, a black fabric roof, and swing-out arms for the spare tire and jerrycan. The interior is similarly utilitarian and inviting, with heated front bucket and removable "tuck-and-tumble" rear bench seats, both trimmed in black with Chilewich cloth inserts, air conditioning, a locking Tuffy center console, and an Alpine head unit paired with the ICON amp and bass package. It's up for auction on BaT now and arrives with an ICON build sheet and accessories.
