1973 Porsche 911S
If you wanted the hottest 911 you could buy in 1973, you ordered a 911S from your local Porsche dealer. The 911RS was available, but in far more limited numbers — and was intended for racing applications only. This one was purchased new, and after being damaged in shipping was repaired and fitted with the larger 911RS steel rear fenders. At some point in its history, the engine was punched out to 2.7 liters from the original 2.4. Very rare, very desirable, and fully factory-optioned, this is easily one of the best examples of the 911S on the market.
