1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 V8 Conversion
Before the LS became the engine swap of choice, the Chevy 350 held the crown for the most-swapped engine. This 1976 FJ40 is an older restoration that was swapped with a carbureted 350 and four-speed auto transmission in 2014. The engine is dressed with an Edelbrock intake manifold with polished valve covers and an aluminum radiator, making for a good-looking engine bay. The Land Cruiser rides on 15-inch steel wheels with polished hubcaps and Rancho dampers. Dual tube bumpers in black and Warn winch make this FJ40 off-road certified. The interior has air conditioning, a vintage look-alike radio, and inward-facing rear jump seats. The vintage SUV is currently up for auction via Bring a Trailer.
