1978 Ferrari 308 GTS
Most 308 GTSs are red. This one is silver, with blue leather inside. A lucky car for at least one person, it was once won in a Grand Rapids Public Museum raffle before eventually reaching California with just 15,000 miles on the clock. The Pininfarina-designed targa's mid-mounted 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 runs four twin-choke Weber 40DCNF carburetors, was factory rated at 237 horsepower, and sends power to the rear through a five-speed manual transaxle with a gated dogleg shifter and a limited-slip differential, fitted with an aftermarket quad-exit exhaust. Suspension is fully independent with double wishbones front and rear, braked by four-wheel ventilated discs, and 14-inch Campagnolo five-spoke alloys. A leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel faces Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer and a 7,700-rpm tachometer, with bolstered seats throughout. A Ferrari Owner's Club travel bag is included, and it's offered at no reserve.
