1978 Jeep Cherokee Golden Eagle SUV
American automakers would rather forget the 1970s. The oil crisis, stagflation, and disco combined with the rise of Japanese automakers make a laughing stock of the Big Three over the decade — but there were bright spots. While not impressive performance-wise, this 1978 Jeep Cherokee Golden Eagle Levi's Edition has one of the best truck designs in history, along with an eye-catching colorway. The brown-and-gold exterior is set off with Golden Eagle graphics, rivaling Pontiac's screaming chicken for best factory-installed decals. The interior is swathed in tan Levi's vinyl accented with real Levi's buttons, with a Levi's logo on the driver's side quarter panel. The truck is in excellent condition for its age and era, making it a true '70s time capsule.
