1980's Disney Framed Stock Certificate

What we now know as The Walt Disney Company went public on April 2, 1940, as Walt Disney Productions, a name it held until 1986. Sometime between 1984 and then, this certificate was created. A rare "Specimen" meant to serve as an archive or design example, it has a vintage design featuring Walt's visage, Mickey, Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle, and a collage of various characters at the top, as well as the signature of then-Chairman of the Board Michael Eisner at the bottom. An ideal collector piece for Disney aficionados, it arrives in custom framing with acid-free mats and backing and UV protective acrylic.
