1981 Tudor Submariner Snowflake Reference 94110 Watch
During the 1970s, the French Navy needed a diver with distinct hour markers and hands for high-visibility underwater. What Rolex-owned Tudor delivered is now considered to be one of the most iconic timepiece design features ever: the Snowflake hour hand. This reference 94110 Submariner dates back to 1981 and sports the unmistakable feature, along with a date window, dark blue dial, and a wonderfully faded "ghost" fat font bezel insert. It's perfectly broken-in, showing light wear on the Rolex-stamped bracelet and stainless steel case, and sits comfortably on the wrist at an ideally-sized 40mm. This Submariner has had its hour hand professionally relumed to match the naturally-aged, cream-colored markers. The watch is running at COSC spec. Water resistance is not guaranteed on any vintage timepiece.
