G-Shock Pure Gold G-D5000-9JR Watch
It's been 35 years since the first G-Shock watch was released, and to mark the anniversary, a very unique version is seeing a limited release. Just like the "Dream Project" G-Shock which was unveiled in 2015 as a concept, the G-D5000-9JR is made of solid 18k yellow gold. The heavy electronic watch's case, bracelet, and exterior screws are all gold, while the watch itself is capable of everything the "Full Metal" versions offer — including 200 meters of water resistance and the ability to absorb some heavy duty damage. Only 35 pieces are being made, and reservations can be made at G-Shock boutiques in Japan in May.
