1982 BMW Alpina B7 S Turbo Sedan

Founded in 1965, Alpina has been customizing BMW sedans as an independent manufacturer for over 50 years. Famous for their spoked wheels and turbocharged motors, Alpina brings the best out of BMW's machines, often getting performance figures that rival the M-series. This 1982 Alpina B7 S features a twin-turbo 3.5-liter inline six that makes 330 horsepower — an insane amount for the period and capable of rivaling dedicated sports coupes of the era. Alpina's philosophy was that owning a sedan shouldn't mean giving up the performance of coupes, and along with the engine, Alpina made a host of upgrades to the suspension, with new shocks, springs, and additional bracing. This Alpina B7 S is the 22nd made of just 60 total. With an extensively documented history and driven only 36,000 miles since new, this B7 S is a perfect example of high-performance German sedans.
