1984 Porsche 911 SC RS Gruppe B Evolutionsserie
In 1983, Porsche built 21 911 SC RS Group B rally cars. Five went to professional teams, with the rest — including the car here — going to private owners. Chassis 021 was the last 911 SC RS to leave the factory, fitted with aluminum bodywork, roll cage, rally light pod, and forged Fuchs wheels. The 3.0-liter flat-six uses mechanical fuel injection to make 280 horsepower, mated to five-speed manual transmission. The car competed in just one event where it finished 14th, and has had just two owners since new. With just 3,237 miles on the clock, the car will go to auction in Chatanooga, Tennessee on October 12th.
