1986 Porsche 911 3.2 Safari
Porsche specialist Elferspot is offering a 1986 Porsche 911 restored to safari spec for sale. The car represents over 700 hours of work by GTR Parts in a ground-up restoration effort. GTR Parts completely disassembled the vehicle and ice-blasted the chassis, rebuilding it with new fenders and coating it in black olive paint. The original 231 horsepower 3.2-liter flat-six was overhauled along with the 915 gearbox. Shortened ratios were added to compensate for the larger tires. A suspension lift with new dampers was fitted, along with a sport exhaust system and roll cage. Inside are rally seats, a Blaupunkt Classic radio, and custom RS door panels. The car has had a 124-mile break-in period and is currently located in Germany.
