1988 Porsche Kremer 962C CK6 Race Car

Founded in the 1960s, Kremer Racing was known for its modified takes on already powerful Porsche race cars. The CK6, based on the 962C but outfitted with an aluminum honeycomb chassis based on drawings provided by Porsche, was arguably the most successful of the lot. It was powered by a 3.0L flat-six with a Bosch Motronic Fuel injection system and twin KKK turbochargers, making 750hp sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. This car, chassis CK6-88, was driven during the 1988 FIA World Sports Prototype Championship, FIA Coupe d'Europe Interserie, and the FIA World Challenge, taking 9th overall at the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning several races, and driven by Mario and Michael Andretti at the World Challenge finale, finishing 6th overall. Meticulously documented with a long racing history and recently converted for road use, it's a rare vintage race car that can be driven to and from the track.
