1991 Isdera Imperator 108i Coupe
When Mercedes declined designer Eberhard Schulz's concept for a supercar, he decided to build it himself — with help from Stuttgart. From 1984 to 1993, only 30 Imperator 108i's were built. Combined with its sci-fi-inspired design, the Imperator 108i makes up for outright performance with visuals and rarity. Underneath the wedge bodywork is a 5-liter Mercedes V8 mated to a ZF five-speed gearbox, making the car capable of a five-second 0-60 run and a top speed of 176 MPH. This ultra-rare car will be up for auction on Bonhams Monte Carlo auction in April.
