1991 NATO Camo G-Wagen Wolf
The Mercedes 250GD Wolf was the G-Wagen the NATO alliance actually drove, issued to military forces across Europe through the Cold War and beyond. This 1991 620GE is a tribute to that history and a bespoke commission, the first build Expedition Motor Company has ever finished in historically accurate NATO camouflage. The green, brown, and black pattern was applied by hand using exact military paint codes, following placement guidelines rather than standardized stencils, meaning the finish is unrepeatable. Under the hood, a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 replaces the original inline-four, backed by a 6-speed automatic. The convertible body comes with both a bikini and a full soft top. Inside, a Sweetgrass interior completes the contrast between military exterior and civilian comfort. One of one. But if you're jealous, use Expedition Motor Company's Wolf Builder to commission your own.
