1992 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R
The GT-R returned to the Skyline lineup in 1989 with a vengeance. With a 316 horsepower, turbocharged inline-six making over 300 horsepower, all-wheel-drive, and electronics that were bleeding edge at the time, the R32 GT-R laid waste to the Japanese Touring Car Championship and became known as Godzilla in Australia — the "monster from Japan". The GT-R's appearance in the first Gran Tourismo racing game made it a legend to American audiences as an unobtanium Japanese supercar, cloaked in beautiful but subdued styling. Up for auction is this 1992 R32 GT-R, brought to the UK from Japan in 2015 by a Japanese student and sold before they returned home in 2016. The car was put in storage after the sale, and remains In nearly factory-new condition, with a recent service prior to the current auction.
