1996 Porsche 993 Carrera RS 3.8L Coupe

The ultimate version of what many consider to be the definitive 911 is going to auction. Porsche built this 1996 Carrera RS with the intention of being raced in amateur motorsports competitions. Porsche ditched everything deemed unnecessary for racing, with thinner glass, two seats, and an aluminum hood added to reduce weight. The 3.6-liter falt-six was bored over to increase capacity to 3.8 liters; horsepower was upped to 300. The example here was imported to Belgium, where the car cover the majority of its 73,811 kilometers. The current owner purchased the car 10 years ago where it has remained primarily in storage. This Carrera RS goes to auction in Europe on October 6th.
