1998 Porsche 911 Type 993 Turbo

This is it — the end of an era, the last 911 to leave the factory that can directly trace its lineage back to the original in 1964. On March 27, 1998, this Ocean Blue 911 Turbo was ordered by a friend of Ferry Porsche and spent nearly six months in the Special Wishes department before finally exiting the factory on the day Ferry died. This makes it the last air-cooled 911 — slightly beating a Mexico Blue 911 Carrera 4S sold to Jerry Seinfeld, which was the last air-cooled 911 off the production line. The car is definitely special, with an uprated flat-six, color-keyed wheels, and Brembo brake calipers. The interior was trimmed in Night Blue leather during its stay in the Special Wishes department, and a plaque on the dash pays tribute to Ferry Porsche. Known as the Last Waltz, the car will go to auction in September.
