1998 RUF CTR 2 Sport

One of just 14 Sport models and one of only four outfitted with all-wheel drive, this 1998 RUF CTR 2 Sport is an outstanding example of a truly exceptional sports car. It's powered by a 580hp, 3.6L twin-turbo flat-six engine mated to a six-speed RUF transmission, good for a 0-62 time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. To get it stopped, it has carbon ceramic brakes, while the rear wing provides downforce while feeding air to the engine and the turbochargers. This particular example, ordered by a long-time RUF collector, was previously refreshed by RUF in Germany and underwent a full service this month at RUF North America. With less than 17,000 miles on the odometer with a non-metallic paint job over a green leather interior, it will go under the hammer at Broad Arrow's Monterey Jet Center auction in August.
