2012 Bertone Nuccio

Created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bertone, the 2012 Bertone Nuccio — named for the son of company founder Giovanni Bertone — was a one-off build. Inspired by the Bertone-penned 1970 Lancia Stratos HF-Zero concept, it was based on a Ferrari F430 donor car, with a 4.3L V8, mated to a six-speed, paddle-shift Graziano automated manual gearbox. Despite a diminutive height of just 44 inches and dramatic wedge shape, it was surprisingly comfortable, incorporating innovative ideas like forward-facing brake lights that turned blue to let pedestrians know the car was slowing down and Y-shaped aluminum braces for the seats. Sadly, Bertone filed for bankruptcy in 2015, making the Nuccio the final car to bear the Bertone name. With roughly 18,000 miles on the odometer — almost all from the donor car — it's now up for auction at RM Sotheby's.
