2020 Porsche 911 Manual Transmission

Initially launched with nothing but PDK transmissions available, the 992 now has what purists wanted all along: a manual transmission. The option for a seven-speed manual will be available on 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S, Carrera S Cabriolet, Carrera 4S, and Carrera 4S Cabriolet models, with hints of it coming to other models soon. The manual option costs the same as the traditionally more expensive automatic, thanks to the automatic inclusion of the Sports Chrono package which also comes with dynamic drivetrain mounts, Suspension Management Sport Mode, a rev-matching feature, and a mode switcher on the steering wheel. Currently available to order, the three-pedal variants will begin showing up at dealerships next spring.
