Apple's iPad mini has long occupied an odd spot in the lineup, with a design that matched the older models and a price closer to the newer models. No more. Borrowing its design cues from the latest iPad Air, the new mini has an all-screen design with thin borders, flat sides, rounded corners, an A15 Bionic chip, and an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. It also has a USB-C port for connectivity, Touch ID on the power button, support for the second-generation Apple Pencil, and available 5G networking. 40% faster than the prior model, it has a 12-megapixel camera on the back, and a new 12-megapixel ultra-wide front camera with support for Center Stage. It arrives in four colors.
