2021 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Race Car
"Best-selling" isn't a term that comes to mind when thinking of Porsche — unless you're talking about race cars. The 911 GT3 is the best-selling race car in the world, and it's all-new for 2021. Building on the foundation of the 992-generation 911, the new GT3 starts with a 25 horsepower gain over the previous model, for a total of 510. The outside takes the 992's bodywork and adds the Turbo-style lightweight widebody kit and wind-tunnel tuned aero, most notably a massive swan-neck rear spoiler. The front suspension is upgraded to double wishbones from the 911 RSR, and the steering is electro-mechanical, a first for a Porsche race car. Inside is a suite of electronics straight from Porsche, including diagnostics and telemetry, along with a full accessory kit for suspension adjustments at the track. The 911 GT3 is available for order now, with teams taking deliveries in February 2021.
