2023 Chevrolet Tahoe RST Performance SUV
Chevrolet has debuted a new performance edition of its full-size Tahoe SUV at the 2022 North American International Auto Show. The Tahoe RST uses GM's venerable 6.2-liter LS V8, making 433 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. Electronic tweaks all the Tahoe RST Performance to hit 60 MPH in 5.7 seconds and run the quarter mile in 14.7 — not bad for a truck that tips the scales at over 5500 pounds. The Tahoe RST Performance shares a number of components with the Tahoe PPV police cruiser, including heavy-duty springs, dampers, and larger sway bars. Accelerating is only half the battle, and to stop the RST has Brembo brakes in red under 20-inch aluminum wheels. Production of the RST Performance Edition will start in the fourth quarter of 2022.
