2024 Aston Martin V12 Engine
The era of the European V12 is closing, with even Ferrari phasing out one of the defining traits of its cars. Aston Martin, however, intends to keep the flame burning — literally. Aston's flagship and limited production models will be equipped with a completely redesigned twin-turbocharged V12 making 824 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. The block and connecting rods have been strengthened, with revised cylinder heads sporting reprofiled camshafts and new intake and exhaust ports. Repositioned spark plugs and larger injectors help further optimize combustion for performance and efficiency gains. Lower-mass turbos help reduce spool times, increasing power and throttle response. The new V12 will debut in an as-yet-unannounced halo model coming later in 2024.
