2024 BMW i7 M70 xDrive EV

BMW's 7-series electric sedan is getting the M-tuned performance option with the upcoming i7 M70 xDrive. Power output jumps to 650 hp and up to 811 lb-ft of torque, up over 100 and 260 respectively, thanks to a fifth-generation rear electric motor with no permanent magnets and a software retune. The air suspension is revamped with M-specific settings and reworked electronic dampers optimized for responsiveness. M Sport brake calipers and larger discs are standard, with the M Performance Professional brake upgrade an option. 21-inch wheels are standard, although the high-performance rubber requires the optional 20-inch set. Range is estimated at 295 miles, with a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds. The i7 M70 xDrive launches worldwide in the second half of 2023.
