2024 Porsche 911 Turbo Remastered by Sonderwunsch

Louise Piëch, daughter of company founder Ferdinand Porsche, received a very special 70th birthday present in 1974 — a 911 Turbo prototype. The car was distinctive in several ways, being built on the standard narrow Carrera chassis instead of the eventual widebody Turbo, and was powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged flat-six instead of a 3.0-liter engine. Mrs. Piëch's Turbo was finished in silver with a tan tartan interior, and four years later, the car was given to the Porsche Museum with over 32,000 kilometers on the clock. For the 50th anniversary of the Turbo, Porsche commissioned a one-off 911 Turbo Exclusive Manufaktur inspired by Mrs. Piëch's prototype. Painted GT Silver, the car wears the Sport Design Package, an Austrian autobahn decal, and the script from the first-ever 911 Turbo for the rear badge, a touch that required special permission from Porsche Classic. Inside are retro-green illuminated dials for the tachometer and Sport Chrono dial and Lipstick Red and black upholstery with red and blue tartan trim. This special 911 Turbo is being offered for sale in the UAE by RM Sotheby's.
