2025 BMW Alpina B8 GT
Alpina is going out with a bang. The long-time BMW tuner was acquired by BMW in 2022, and the terms of the buyout dictate that Alpina will begin development of a new lineup of vehicles scheduled to debut at the end of the 2020s. The B8 GT could be the last true Alpina, and it comes as the most powerful car ever from the company. Powered by the same 4.4-liter tine-turbo V8 from the B5 GT, the mill makes 625 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque — two horsepower less than the M5 CS, BMW's most powerful ICE offering. The V8 is mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic, a combination that moves the B8 GT from 0-62 in 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 204 MPH. The exterior wears a carbon fiber body kit and optional two-tone paint with special badging and 21-inch Alpina forged wheels. Inside is a leather interior with wood trim and Burkard Bovensiepen's signature, the founder of Alpina who passed in October 2023. A set of weekender luggage and a Swiss watch are also included with the car.
