It's not BMW's "flagship" car. Yet the M5's blend of performance and practicality has made it a favorite of motoring enthusiasts for over four decades. The 2025 edition is no different. Its hybrid drive system combines a twin-turbo 4.4L V8 engine with an electric motor for a total output of 727 hp, transferred to the road via a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. M-specific suspension and aero bits help retain its sports car-like capabilities while allowing for effortless cruising, and the interior is suitably luxurious, with ample room for up to five passengers, Merino leather trim, four-zone climate control, and a panoramic glass sunroof.
